Edge Scout Charlie

The Edge Scout Charlie is Nine Hill’s flagship portable Remote ID detector. It improves on the original Bravo with dual-band detection across both 2.4 and 5 GHz frequencies, covering the full range of Remote ID-equipped drones in the field today.

Charlie integrates directly with TAK via the Drone Hone plugin – developed by Nine Hill, it is the most widely used TAK plugin for drone detection. Detections appear as georeferenced icons on the team’s shared TAK map in real time, no radio relay required.

The device runs up to 14 hours on its internal 2000 mAh battery and connects to a TAK end user device via Bluetooth or USB-C tether. For operators who prefer a dashboard interface, Charlie also connects to the Edge View web platform for detection management and data visualization.
